The up side of poverty
When things go south economically, you don't have nearly as far to fall as other folks. The panic seems to be minimized since you already know the reality of "cutting back".

Ya know, I've been thinking the same thing. If it wasn't for some money I have set aside for my kids and tied up in an investment account, the Dow Jones average wouldn't make any difference to me.
